I need to admit that I just love watching crime movies. There is always something exciting in the plot. I love to put myself in the brain of the main investigator and try to see things the way they see it and I always come up with my own solutions to the case in my head. It’s never boring and I like when in the end the situation completely turns around and something unexpected happens.
In our product called Crime-Trail, you can read more about it here, you are playing the role of the main investigator. You walk around the area where the crime has been committed with the crime file in your hand, you send text messages to get hearings from the witnesses, hints, tips, and some information that is not relevant for you at all. All of it to bring you closer to solving the case and to confuse your brain a little.
In this article, I just wanted to announce the opening of our Crime-Trails in Denmark. Happy days! We have launched one in Copenhagen and the second one in Aarhus. In Copenhagen, you will be solving the case of Hans Jensen’s murder, which took place in his apartment near Nørreport Station. No fingerprints were found, he was shot directly in his heart with his own gun. There will be five suspects, such as his wife, neighbor, and people that could have been involved. You will get to know where they work, live, and what they do in their free time. You will see who has the alibi, who has a motive and with the help of the pieces of evidence, you will be able to figure out which one of them is the perpetrator. During this trail, you will walk through the city center of Copenhagen, you will see one of the icons of the city the Round Tower, Strøget the pedestrian street, the King’s Garden, and more. So take your time, there is no rush, explore, get hints, and be as good as Sherlock Holmes in the investigating and finding the guilty ones. It’s a fun activity for you or the whole family, available in Danish and English.
In Aarhus, Anna has been kidnapped. Her mother received a picture of Anna tied to a chair. Anna was seen with her friend Julia, they had a drink and went to Aarhus Theater. This was when Anna was last seen. Where is she? Who kidnapped her? Walk around the small streets of Aarhus city center and visit the places where the potential perpetrators have been recent. Stay in close contact with the investigation office via SMS and receive further information. As in a real investigation, you decide which places to visit first, but I strongly recommended to visit all places. Otherwise, you might miss important leads. Our Crime-Trail in Aarhus, the same as the one in Copenhagen, is available both in Danish and English.
What do you need to complete the Crime-Trail?
- A cell phone with an Internet connection. You’ll also need to send SMS messages on the go to get more leads.
- The crime file of the corresponding trail. Along with the order confirmation, you will receive a download link where you can download the crime file of your case.
- The warrant code that you will receive with your order confirmation by email. This will enable you to convict the perpetrator at the end.
What does it cost?
Participation in a crime trail costs EUR 25 (around 185 DKK) per group or per arrest warrant code, but I have a piece of good news for you! Because we just opened those two trails, we decided to give you a discount and their price is discounted by 50% now! If there are more than five participants, additional arrest warrant codes must be purchased. For large groups, the crime trail can also be played against each other in smaller groups. Crime trails can be completed at any time and without prior registration. All you have to do is buy the crime trail, visit the crime scene mentioned in the crime file and off you go.
I am very happy about sharing this news with you. Hopefully, we will see many investigators in Denmark. Almost forgot! Would you like to have a Crime-Trail on your own? Maybe you have a tourist office and would like to attract additional tourists to your destination or offer additional experience to the locals? Or are you a company celebrating an anniversary or looking for an idea for an original product launch? We can definitely create one for you and it’s not that expensive, believe me. Feel free to contact us under this email: firstname.lastname@example.org, we are more than ready to guide you through this idea.
