In this article, I would like to bring you closer to all the transportation methods that you might experience on different Detective-Trails. In many of the 3 – 5 km long Detective-Trail you will just walk, but in some of them, you will have the possibility to use various transportation methods. Let’s take a deeper look at those.
First of all, how about a trip on a ship? You can comfortably take it from Biel to Twann. Combine mysteries with relaxing and wonderful views of the beautiful lake promenades of Lake of Biel. On this Detective-Trail, you will be able to take a ride with the chairlift into the breathtaking mountain landscape of Malbun. Once you have reached the top with the Sareis chairlift, the Detective-Trail takes you through an idyllic landscape with views of romantic forests and a royal mountain world. Just take a look at the pictures, isn’t it a beautiful landscape?
Detective Badger has something to offer for the sporty detectives as well. They can choose the trail by bike and enjoy the Lake of Constance region around Kreuzlingen. With over 900 km of signposted cycle paths, the region is a cyclists’ paradise. This trail is 17 km long with perfect stops for a picnic on the way, or a swim in the beautiful Lake of Constance. It’s good for sporty adults and kids. You just need to set up the proper speed for the participants.
Here comes, another Detective-Trail offer with a view! The adventure-gondolas at Lenk that go up to the Leiterli. The cow Mona, the goat Flöckli and the marmot Moritz will tell you interesting stories about their life on the alp (in Swiss German and French). Take your time when boarding and find your place in one of the gondolas. When you finish this Detective-Trail, you can get back down to the valley by gondola or on a rapid scooter ride. Rich in culture and history, the city offers everything your heart desires. And on the short bus transfers to the next riddle you can relax a little and process the impressions you have gathered.
The Detective Trail in Beckenried offers the ultimate in combination possibilities. Take the cable car up to Klewenalp. Complete the exciting family safari with Detective Badger and Goldi and enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Lucerne. On the way back to the starting point in Beckenried, you will arrive by a gondola, a bus, a funicular and finally by a boat. Believe me, this is a very unique experience.
