What would Disney be without Mickey Mouse or Looney Tunes without Bugs Bunny? Definitely not the same, just like Detective-Trails produced by MyCityHighlight would not be the same without the Detective Badger. But wait…who is he?
He is our own Sherlock Holmes, who lives in the capital of Switzerland, the city of Bern. To be more precise, somewhere between the bear park and the zoo at the river Aare. Detective Badger was created in 2014 and is the main character of children’s book of the same name. Today, it is only available in German, but hopefully one day we will be able to offer the book in English too.
What Detective Badger enjoys the most is travelling around the world, visiting his friends and discovering exciting cities and regions. He jumps on the back of buses, ferries, freight cars and trucks. Yes, he is doing it all to travel without a ticket. So far he’s been pretty successful, but do not take him as an example to your kids in that and remember to buy the ticket for your next journey.
He travels the world constantly and is simply always busy. Recently, have been seen in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Denmark. What brought him to these countries? A riddle to solve! He purely loves to solve problems. He is being called again and again when there is a ‘case’ to puzzle out somewhere in the world. Just like Sherlock Holmes, he travels where he is needed helping to solve tricky question. Who knows what will be the next destination for his trip?
He will be there with you, when you are out on one of ours Detective-Trails or Crime-Trail Kids (currently only in Switzerland), accompanying you during the mysterious journey. You will see him in the Detective-Trails app and on the printed Detective-Trails. You will follow him and he will give you tips and information. In the Detective-Trail app you will be able to take a picture with Detective Badger, wherever you are. How cool is that? You can share the picture on social media, and spread the info about Detective Badger in the world. Who knows, we might repost it and mention you as one of Detective Badger friends!
